Abstract: A molecularly imprinted nano-porous film for melamine adsorption was electrochemically generated in situ on a paraffin-impregnated graphite electrode with a melamine/chitosan/nano-silver/polyquercetin complex. The film displayed a 3D network structure as characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy and electrochemical techniques. The modified electrode exhibited a highly selective enrichment for melamine. Oxidation peak current and melamine concentration in the range of 1 × 10-7 -1 × 10-5 mol/L showed an excellent linear relationship. The detection limit of the method was 1 × 10-8 mol/L (3σ). The modified electrode had excellent anti-interference performance and allowed the determination of melamine in milk.
