Abstract: The major purpose of this study was to explore the effect of cyanidin-3-O-β-glucoside (Cy-3-g) on lipoprotein lipase(LPL) activity in adipocytes isolated from rats. It was found that Cy-3-g could inhibit LPL activity in adipocytes through  activating pAMPK. This suggests that Cy-3-g may have a potential role against obesity through regulating lipid metabolism.
