Abstract: The PSF-500 of polysulfone membrane with a molecular weight cut-off(MWCO) of 50000 had the best effect on purification of flavonoids from leaves of Dendrocalamus latiflorus by ultrafiltration(UF) in contrast with five other membranes. The yield of flavonoids is 4.29 % and the content is 44.123 %.The effects of filtration pressure, feed velocity of flow and runtime on the operation were tested and discussed. The results showed that the best parameters on the operation were filtration pressure 0.20~0.30 MPa,feed velocity of flow 0.4 m/s and runtime 12 h(the PSF-500 membrane must be cleaned after 12 h).At the same time, the recovery test of adding rutin was experimented with PSF-500 in UF system. The results indicated that average recovery is 97.0% and coefficient of variation is 1.94%.
