Abstract: Objective: To study the anti-aging effect of concentrated powder of Borojo fruit on aging mice induced by D-galactose. Methods: Kunming male mice were treated with 50 mg/kg D-galactose to create aging model by intraperitoneal injection. Mice were fed Borojo fruit concentrated powder by gavage continuously for 30 days. The activities of SOD and GSH-Px and the content of MDA in mouse serum and liver were determined. Results: Borojo fruit concentrated powder at middle dose (4.0 g/(kg·d) and high dose (6.0 g/(kg·d) improved SOD activity and significantly decreased MDA content in the serum and liver of mice, and at high dose significantly improved GSH-Px activity in the serum and liver. Conclusion: Borojo fruit concentrated powder has strong in vivo anti-aging effects. It can be applied for the development of health functional food.
