Abstract: In this paper, the Gas Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry for determination of 18 kinds of phthalates, 16 kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 7 polychlorinated biphenyls in edible oils was established. The sample was ultrasonic extracted by acetonitrile saturated hexane, cleaned up by SPE, separated by DB-5 capillary column, ionized by electron impact and quantitated by multiple reaction monitoring mode. Phthalate acid esters have a linear range of 0.04~2 mg/kg, with a linear range of diisodecyl phthalate (DINP) of 1~40 mg/kg. The linear range of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and polychlorinated biphenyls was 0.01~0.4 mg/kg. The calibration curves for all the analytes showed good linearity in their respective concentration ranges, with correlations coefficients of more than 0.99. The limits of detection (LODs) were 0.08~2 μg/kg(except DINP, the detection limit was 8 μg/kg), the recoveries ranged from 62.7% to 128.3%, with relative standard deviations of 1.1% to 13.6%(n=6). The sensitivity accuracy simplicity and rapidity of the method make it suitable for rapid detection of 18 kinds of phthalate acid esters, 16 kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 7 kinds of polychlorinated biphenyls in edible oils.
