Screening on the extraction methods of 16 kinds of heterocyclic amines detected in meat products by UHPLC-MS/MS

Abstract: In this paper, tandem solid phase extraction (Extrelut-PRS-C18 solid phase extraction column extraction method, PRS-C18 solid phase extraction column extraction method), MCX solid phase extraction column extraction method and dispersive solid phase extraction method (QuECHERS method (Quick , Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, Safe)) were used to extract 16 kinds of heterocyclic amines in meat products, and the 4 methods were comprehensively compared in terms of methodology and cost. The results showed that the recovery and precision, detection limits (LODs) and quantification limits (LOQs) of 16 HAs obtained by the 4 extraction methods were significantly different. Compared to the other three methods, QuECHERS method had better recovery and precision. The LODs and LOQs of MCX solid phase extraction column extraction method and QuECHERS method were better than the other two methods; Both MCX and QuECHERS extraction methods showed lower cost and shorter time for 16 kinds of HAs extraction. In summary, QuECHERS method is fast, simple, cheap, effective, stable and safe, which is conducive to the accurate detection for HAs in meat products and is worth to popularized and widely applied.
