1. Please read the Copyright & Permissions before submission and sign the Agreement on Transfer of Copyright. Author names, affiliations and foundations should be confirmed to avoid academic misconduct as well as conflicts of interests.
2. Change of authorship, affiliation and order of authors: The lead author/corresponding author should email or fax the written explanation to the Editorial Department of Food Science. The explanation should include signatures of all authors and affiliation stamp. Only reasonable changes without academic misconduct will be accepted, otherwise the change will de declined. Therefore careful consideration about authorship is recommended to be considered before submission.
3. Arrangement of fund-based projects: If a manuscript is supported by certain funds, the arrangement of fund-based projects should be written in a standard and correct way. Information like supporting institutions, categories and project numbers should all be included.
4. Paper version of submission is not accepted and therefore authors should upload electronic documents (.doc) of submission. The length of research papers is generally between 5000-10000 Chinese words. The length of review papers is generally between 7000-15000 Chinese words.
