Abstract: Two-dimensional nanomaterials are a class of materials with unique physical and chemical properties. Since they have many advantages in development of biosensors, such as improving response speed and sensitivity, shortening detection cycle and simplifying operation, they can well fulfill the needs of food safety and quality detection. In recent years, they show great application prospect in the field of food safety detection. Based on the analysis of the application of graphene, graphene alkyne, and graphene-like two-dimensional nanomaterials in the field of analytical sensing, this paper reviews the research progress of two-dimensional nanomaterials in the detection of food pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, food additives, mycotoxins and food-borne pathogens in the past five years. The development prospect of two-dimensional nanomaterials in the field of food safety detection is prospected to provide research ideas and theoretical reference for researchers.
