Research Progress Physiology Activity and Mechanism of Xanthohumol, A Prenylflavoniod from Hops(Humulus lupulus L)

Abstract: Xanthohumol is a prenylflavoniod from Humulus lupulus L. Its structure endows it multiple physiology activities. The aim of this paper is to summarize the distilling, separation, purification, configuration identification and physiology activities of xanthohumol for cancer prevention, antiviral, prevention of diabetes and atherosclerosis and action of estrogen and antioxidant.
