Sorption of AB-8 Resin to Flavonoids of Extract from Pteris semipinnata L.

Abstract: The extraction and purification of the flavonoid from Pteris semipinnata L. was studied. The flavonoids were picked up by cooperated with microwave, and determined with spectrophotometer. The result showed that AB-8 resin had good sorption to the flavonoids of the extract from Pteris semipinnata L. and the effect of sorption with static state was better than with dynamic. The best technical parameter of sorption with static state of AB-8 macro porous resin were, the ratio of resin and extracts 1:20 (W/V), pH5~6, and the flavonoids content of the extract was 1.5~2.5 mg/ml, shaking 3 h at 25 ℃, then eluted with 60% ethanol. On these conditions, the callback rate of the flavonoids in the extracts from Pteris semipinnata L. is 87.4%.
