Study on the Total Flavonoids Content in Leaves of Cucumber

Abstract: Leaves of cucumber is rich of flavonoids compounds. Flavonoids in leaves was determined by spectrometric method with rutin as a standard. The results indicated: The optimum extracting condition of the ethanol digestion method was A1B3C3D3, which is adding twenty times amount of the ethanol 30%, extracting time 3h, solid-liquid ratio ratio 1g:50ml and temperature of extraction 60℃. This data provided useful pharmaceutic in formation of flavonoids from leaves of cucumber.
