Buckwheat in Tibet (TAR)

Abstract: The Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) is one of the poorest provinces in China. Buckwheat is mostly cultivatedin areas with sloping infertile land on which other crops cannot be grown.It is a valuable crop in remote and food deficient mountainareas, and the potential of enhanced buckwheat utilization in TAR is high and diverse.
