Reflection on Approval and Evaluation of Healthy Foods Containing Bee Products

Abstract: Bee products are widely used in healthy foods, such as propolis, honey and royal jelly. In this article, the approval situation and common problems especially in the aspects of approved quantity, formulation, process and quality control of healthy foods containing bee products are reviewed. The problems related to the evaluation of healthy foods are also specifically analyzed. Moreover, some suggestions for the application of healthy foods containing bee products are proposed too, with the aim of providing theoretical supports for future research and development of healthy foods.
