Abstract: Abstract: Isolation and purification of anthraquinone from the root of Actinidia arguta Sieb. et Zucc by polyamide column chromatography and silica column chromatography. Determination of the content of anthraquinone compounds in the root of Actinidia arguta Sieb. et Zucc by high performance liquid chromatography. The results show that the optimum isolation conditions are found as follows:the type of silica gel was silica gel G-200, the type of chromatographic column wasφ1.1×100, the eluent speed of flow was 1.5ml/min. The content of main anthraquinone fractions composed of emodin and chrysophanol its contents were: 46μg / g and 157.5 μg / g from the root of Actinidia arguta Sieb. et Zucc. was determined by methanol: water = 90:10 as mobile phase, 254 nm as detecting wavelength of high performance liquid chromatograph.
