摘要: 利用色谱和分光光度法对子午岭产的东紫苏种子中的β-胡萝卜素进行了定性和定量的研究。实验表明:东紫苏种子含有丰富的β-胡萝卜素,具有较高的营养价值和药用功效,其植物资源在食物和医药等领域具有潜在的开发利用前景。

Abstract: The β-carotene in Elsholtzia bodinieri V. was studied quantitively and qualitatively with chromatograpphy and spectrophytometry methods. The results showed that the seed was of high nutritive values and pharmaco- logical efficacy, and of promising prospects in exploitation and utilization in food and medicine.
