Abstract: By analyzing the characteristics of food safety big data and referring to the social co-governance system of food safety, an investigation into the construction of a big data standard system for food safety was conducted based on five kinds of data including government supervision, enterprise information, testing, quality monitoring and internet data (covering all steps in the whole industry chain including the farming and processing of agricultural products, as well as food production, storage, transportation, sale and consumption) generated and used by six kinds of entities including governments, enterprises, inspection and testing institutions, industry associations, media and consumers. Based on the big data reference model, an innovative food safety big data technology reference framework and a three-dimensional spatial model for the standard system were constructed, and the standards to be developed for the standard system were elaborated. In order to further accelerate its implementation and application, an evaluation model for the standard system was established, and some suggestions concerning the development of food safety big data standard system and 20 priority standards to be developed were put forward to promote the development of the food safety big data industry.
