Abstract: The ultraviolet spectrophotometry is a major determination method for determining general flavone of Ginkgo bilobaL. In this paper, we build an improved ultraviolet spectrophotometry. And study its precision, repetition, linearity relation andreclaim rate. Compared with the traditional ultraviolet spectrophotometry, the advantages of the improved method consist in highprecision, good repetition of analytical results, satisfied linearity relation and reclaim rate. It could be concluded that the improvedultraviolet spectrophotometry could be used both in scientific research and industrial production.

Key words: flavone of Ginkgo biloba L., ultraviolet spectrophotometry, improved ultraviolet spectrophotometry
