Abstract

Abstract: A method for rapid detection of Ochratoxin A by colloidal gold strip was introduced. Four steps were involved in the process of the preparation of the strip, including production of colloidal gold, manufacture of immunogold, installation and analysis of the strip. With the strip, 10ng/ml of Ochratoxin A was detected in less than 10 min. Apart from very short time to get test results, the strip possessed benefits of user-friendly format and relatively inexpensive to make. So it is ideally suited for on site testing of Ochratoxin A.
