Absorptiophotometric Determination of Nitriteon with 3-Thiazolyazo-5-Amino Phenoi

Abstract

Abstract: In a dilute H2SO4 medium of C(H2SO4)0.3～0.65mol/L,trace a mounts of NO 2 reacts with protonated 3-Thiazolyazo- 5-Amino phenol to form a pair association complex having its absorption maxima at 375nm. And a molar absorptivity of 3.96 ×104L/mol•cm,Beer’s law holds in the range of 0 to 10.6μg of NO 2 per 10ml of solution. The method presented has been used - - in the determination of NO2 in Meat products.
