Abstract: Different carbon and nitrogen sources of the liquid cultural of Morchella esculent L. from four different places were studied. The selection target were the dry weight of mycelium, inopolysaccharide(IPS) and the percent of IPS. The results showed that the suitable carbon sources for Morchella esculent L. from Beijing, Wuhan, Shandong, Huaiyin were sucrose, starch, white sugar and starch; the suitable nitrogen source for Morchella esculent L. from Beijing, Wuhan, Shandong, Huaiyin were lobstersauce, peptone, fish sauce, lobster sauce.

Key words: Morchella esculent L., carbon source, nitrogen sources, inopolysaccharides(IPS)
