Review on Analysis of Chloropropanols in Foodstuffs

Abstract: This paper summarized the application of matrix solid-phase dispersion extraction(MSPD), solid-phase micro- extraction(SPME)and liquid-liquid extraction to the extraction and clean-up of chloropropanols in foodstuffs and water. This review also coverd the internal standard (IS), chromatographic column, separation condition and detection of chloropropanols or their derivatives. Finally several new screening method for 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol in soy sauce/acid vegetable protein was introduced.
