Examination of Market Diseases on Imported Grape Berries

Abstract: The import fruit market in Shanghai was surveyed and the market diseases of the imported fresh grapes (red-globe) were isolated and examined preliminarily. Alternaria spp, Botrytis cinerea, Cladosporium spp, and Stemphulium sp, were identified as the pathogenic fungi of the imported red-globe. Alternaria spp, was the most frequently detected fungus, and the frequency of isolation in the health fruits was as high as 65.8%. In addition, serious SO2 injury was found in the imported red-globe grapes, and the injury rate of the most serious batch was 92%.
