Study on Slumber Improvement by Platycladi seed Extract

Abstract: The Platycladi seed holds significant therapeutic effects on improving sleep quality. This study got three active components of Platycladi seed through the extraction, separation and edulcoration. They are oil, volatile constituents, and glycoside. Base on GB method for the assessment of sleep improvement function, three group doses were adopted: high, middle and low, to process the experiment of sleep improvement function. The results showed that the sleeping of mice can be improved by all the three components extracted from Platycladi seed (p< 0.05).
