Abstract: Effects of removing the superoxide radical, hydroxyl radical and alkane radical with active matter extracts from Ampelopsis grossedentata which was mainly consisted of favone compound dihydromyricetin were determined by the method of NBT photoreduction, system of ascorbic acid-Cu2+-H2O2 and oxidation of linolin acid. The antioxidant activities of the flavonoids dihydromyricetin extracted from Ampelopsis grossedentata were studied. The scavenging capacity of superoxide radical(O2·),hydroxyl radical(·OH)and alkane radical(ROO·)for dihydromyricetin was 90.0%,83.9%,63.9% respectively.
