Effects of Nutritional Elements on Dunaliella Salina Cultivation and It’s β-carotene Production

Abstract: Dunaliella salina(D.Salina)cultivation became very hot in the world,because it can produce antioxidant substances——β-carotene.Accumulation process of β-carotene in D.Salina is affected by many factors,and trace elements are an important one.The experimental results summed up an optimum amount of P,Mg,N,Zn and Fe to biomass cultivation(9.1 mg/L,100 mg/L,82 mg/L,28.8μg/L,1.12 mg/L)and beta-carotene production(3.6 mg/L,40 mg/L,132 mg/L,12μg/L,0.21 mg/L).
