Antioxidant Activities and Contents of Total Polyphenols and Flavonoids in Six Kinds of Bee Pollens

Abstract: The contents of total polyphenols and flavonoids of ethanol extracts from six kinds of bee pollens were determined.The results showed that the ethanol extracts from six kinds of bee pollens exhibited a strong DPPH· radical scavenging activity and reducing power.Therefore,the ethanol extracts of bee pollens would be an excellent natural antioxidant.
