Abstract: Postharvest loquat(Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) fruits were stored in normal temperature and packed with different gas permeability polyethylene bags. The results showed that the high gas permeability bags are better than medium and low gas permeability bags for fresh-keeping of loquat because they could keep the quality indexes such as rot index, rigidity, titrtable acid(TA),vitamin C and sensory much better except that the weight loss rate and total soluble solid(TSS) have no obvious differences.
