Abstract: The effects of different temperature, time and the ratio of solid to solution on the extraction yield of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides (GLP) were optimized with response surface methodology. Experimental data were analyzed by the regression equation with Design Expert (Version 6.0.2) software. It indicated that the optimum extraction parameters are temperature 89.35 ℃, time 1.47 h and the ratio of solid to solution 1:29.19. Under these conditions, the predicted value of GLP extraction yield is 7.76 mg/g, in consistent with the measured value. It is the maximal extraction yield of GLP with optimized process parameters.
