Abstract: Rapid-disintegrated oral tablets were prepared by direct compression with calcium citrate is major stuff and some microcrystalline cellulose and mannitol as auxiliary materials. The results showed that the optimum proportions are 30% calcium citrate, 12% mannitol, 20% microcrystalline cellulose, 15% sodiun carboxymethyl starch, 10% low-substiuted hydroxypropylcellulose, 0.5% aspartame, 10% sucrose and 2% citric acid. The obtained orally instant calcium tablets are of good taste rapid disintegration, and easy administration.
