Abstract: This paper introduced the property, the resources and the hazard of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and detailed the methods of removing carcinogenic PAHs in the oils, contaminated water and soil, such as physical methods, chemical methods, biologicalm ethods,e xtraction bys upercritical technique,m icrowave-assistede xtraction eta l.T hep ros andc ons oft he methods were compared. We analyzed the resources of benzo[a]pyrene (BaP) in the tocopherol oil. We found that silica gel column chromatography, microwave-assisted extraction, concentration by synthetic fiber can effectively remove the BaP in the tocopherolo il.
