Abstract: The methods for extraction of anthoxantin from Pueraria Thomsonii Benth L. include heat refluxing ,ultrasonicextraction etc. ,except for grinding starch .In this paper, we compare with three methods for extraction of anthoxanthin. Theresults showed that the percentage of Pueraria extracting from anthoxanthin with grinding starch method is 48%,which is higherthan the others’. By using the same method, we got the total anthoxanthin from waste water emitted from producing starch of PuerariaThomsonii Benth L. in which the content of Pueraria is 39%.This method has some advantages: simple technology, beingapplicable to the comprehensive utilization of waste water emitted from producing starch of Pueraria Thomsonii Benth L.inindustry.
