Application of Microwave Digestion for Photometric Determination of Phosphorus in Milk Power Sample

Abstract: The pretreatment of the sample plays very important role in analyzing and determining trace elements. This paper reported that in the photometric determination of phosphorus in milk power, sample is improved with microwave digestion technique. The parameters such as reagent proportion, solution volume, time, pressure, microwave digestion power are optimized. Compared with the traditional dissolution method, the microwave digestion technique has the predominant features of less acid used and less time needed. In addition, environmental contamination is remarkably reduced.
