Abstract: Ten batches of raspberry wine from Kashgar and five kinds of counterfeits were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy. The primary absorption peaks in the infrared spectral fingerprints were identified and similarity and cluster analysis were then carried out to find whether the infrared spectral fingerprints of raspberry wine and counterfeits are similar to one another. The results showed that the ten batches of raspberry wine from Kashgar had good similarity. Raspberry wine could be effectively discriminated from counterfeits by similarity and cluster analysis. A good correlation was observed between both chemical measurement methods. As a result, it can be concluded that the developed method is valid method for quality evaluation of raspberry wine.
