Effect of 1-Methylcyclopropene Combined with Peach Gum Polysaccharide Coating on the Shelf-Life Quality of Pears

摘要: 探究1-甲基环丙烯(1-methylcyclopropene,1-MCP)与桃胶多糖(peach gum polysaccharide,PGP)涂膜复合处理对梨采后保鲜效果的影响。以‘苏翠1号’梨为实验材料,研究清水对照(Control)、1-MCP处理、PGP处理、1-MCP+PGP处理对其货架期品质的影响。结果表明:1-MCP和PGP处理均能延缓‘苏翠1号’梨货架期的品质下降;相较于两种单一处理,1-MCP+PGP复合处理的效果更优,其不仅可显著降低梨果实采后呼吸强度和乙烯释放速率,提高梨果实过氧化氢酶、超氧化物歧化酶和过氧化物酶等抗氧化相关酶的活性;还可明显地抑制多聚半乳糖醛酸酶、果胶甲酯酶和纤维素酶等软化相关酶的活性,最终实现了降低果实中过氧化氢(H2O2)和丙二醛的积累,延缓梨果实硬度、叶绿素含量、可滴定酸和可溶性糖含量下降的目的。本研究表明1-MCP与PGP复合处理可有效延长梨货架期,同时能较好地维持梨果实的外观及风味品质,为其在梨采后保鲜领域的推广应用提供了理论依据与实践参考。

Abstract: In order to investigate the preservation effect of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) combined with peach gum polysaccharide (PGP) coating on the postharvest quality of pears, ‘Sucui 1’ pears were subjected to one of four treatments: water (control), 1-MCP, PGP coating, and 1-MCP + PGP coating, followed by evaluation of their shelf-life quality. The results showed that both 1-MCP and PGP treatments delayed the deterioration of the shelf-life quality of ‘Sucui 1’ pears. Compared with the single treatments, combined treatment with 1-MCP and PGP exhibited superior preservation effects, significantly reducing the postharvest respiratory rate and ethylene release rate of pears while enhancing the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and peroxidase (POD). Furthermore, it effectively inhibited the activities of polygalacturonase (PG), pectin methylesterase (PME), and cellulase (CX), ultimately reducing the accumulation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA). This delayed the decline in firmness, chlorophyll content, titratable acidity, and soluble sugar content of pear fruits. This study indicates that 1-MCP combined with PGP treatment can effectively prolong the shelf life of pears and maintain their appearance and flavor quality, offering a theoretical basis and practical references for the application of this combined technology in postharvest pear preservation.
