The Experimental Report on the Extraction and Analysis of Pumpkin Polysaccharide and Blood Sugar Reduction

Abstract:  Extract the Pumpkin polysaccharide from Pumpkin and analyse its ingredients by using water extraction, alcohol deposit; use Alloxan diabetes rats as animal models, compare with the already-made traditicnal Chinese medicines Xiaoke pilland Anemarrhena extracts, carry on the animal experiment of reducing blood sugar by using pumpkin polysaccharide. The result proved the pumpkin polysaccharide has a good effect to reduce the blood sugar of alloxan diabetes rats, and the source of raw meterials is rich, and the cost of extracting is low. The development of the product has a good propects.
