Propolis to Inhibit the High Tempera ture Induced Oxidative Effect of Colza Oil

Abstract: Antioxidative effect of ethanol extract of propolis(EEP)on lipid peroxidation of colza oil wa s studied.The results showedthatEEPcouldinhibi tthereactionoflipidperoxidation ofcolzaoilsignificantlyandreduceits acidvalue.The antioxidative effect of EEPon colza oil was bigger than butylated hyd roxya nisole(BHA)and tocopherol.Propolis was a kind of natural and safe antioxidant.
