Effects of Emulsifiers Added on Gel Production by Agrobacterium radiobacter Q9415

Abstract: The effects of emulsifiers Tween 80, Tween 60, TritonX-100, sucrose ester, and SSL on Q9415 fermentation wereexamined respectively both in shake flask and in 30L bioreactor. The addition of Triton X 100 to 30L bioreactor produced28.5g/L exopolysaccharides at 86h and resulted with more viscosious product.
