Development and Research of Function and Safety Evaluation of Penes Wine

Abstract: With penes, antlers and blood as main raw material Lubianjiu was developed by the means of modern biotech to extract and prepare. Evaluations of function and safety were carried out with the Kunming mice inbred lives as the experimental animal. The accelerations to the mice’s sexual function were studied with immature mice, castration mice and mice with deficiency of vital function (DVF). The evaluations of acute toxicity, accumulative toxicity and micronucleus rates were made with SD rats. Results showed that Lubianjiu can accelerate the development of mice’s sexual organs and raise the testosterone level of mice, and showed that the dose-effect relationship between them. This indicates that Lubianjiu has the similar action as androgen and e able to accelerate sexual function. Toxicity appraisal certified that Lubianjiu has the same toxicity as the general liquor, it is safe and imnoxious to drink it moderately.
