Analayses of Nutritive Composition and Processing Technology of the Fruit of Chaenomeles in Yizhou

Abstract: The fruit of Chaenomeles in Yizhou includes rich nourishment,for having high nutritional components and health care value. It is a valuable resource for medical purposes and edible after processing. There is much fruit hanging heavy on the tree and the fruit is big, golden and fragrant, having thick pulp, abundant pectin, fine and smooth pulp. The flavor is pure for edible after processing. This article has introduced the technological process and processing of Chaenomeles fruits in Yizhou.
