Preliminary Study on Antioxidant Activity of Water-soluble Coconut Shell Glycan with Copper(Ⅱ)

Abstract: Water-soluble coconut shell glycan and complexes of coconut shell glycan with copper(Ⅱ) were prepared, and their antioxidant activity were also studied preliminarily. The results demonstrated that the complexes showed good ability for scavenging the superoxide anion radical,and the ability was increased as the amount of the complexes increased.
