Abstract:  Objective: A new method of chemiluminescence for determining arsenic in wheat is developed. It is a good method for measuring harmful element in wheat. MethodThe method is based on that arsenic reduces potassium permanganate and the reaction is coupled with the chemiluminescence system Luminol-KMnO4. ResultDetection limit of method is 5.0×10-10g/ml and RSD is lower than 5%(n=5). The linearity range of the method is between 2×10-9g/ml and 1.4×10-8g/ml .The recovery of the method is between 98% and 107%. Conclusion: The method has been supplied to determine the arsenic in wheat. The results were satisfactory.
