Study on Isolation and Purification of Polysaccharides from Flower of Rape

Abstract: The extraction and purification of the rape polysaccharides were studied .The factors that affected the extracting rates were reviewed by experiments of mono-factors. Then, adopting the orthogonal test, the optimum extraction conditions were obtained. The ratio of liquid to raw material, extraction time, extraction temperature and extraction times were 40, 2h, 100℃ and 2, respectively. The size-exclusion column chromatography was used to purify crude polysaccharides and determine their molecular weights .The results showed the rape polysaccharides were composed of two pure polysaccharides, which molecular weights were 63.51kD and 49.58kD, respectively.
