Abstract: Trace elements in body (except tail) and tail of different subspecies of Eremias multiocellata were determined with the atomic absorption spetrophotometry. The results showed that the contents of element K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn are abundant, the harzness element contents of Pb is low. Only the E.m.yarkandenis implied Cd and contents of Cd are very low. Eremias multiocellata does not contain Co, Ni. The relations between these beneficial elements and its medical mechanism were discussed. It had provided scientific evidence for the further studies and application of Eremias multiocellata.

Key words: Eremias multiocellata, E.m.yarkandenis, E.m.kozlovi, trace element, major element, atomic absorption spetrophotometry
