Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effect of Pleurotus nebrodensis mycelium polysaccharides (PNMP) against oxidation and senescence. Method: According to different polysaccharide doses, grouped animals were respectively conducted in experiments of fruit fly survival and mice’s antioxidation capability. The assay indexes were: mortality of fruit fly group, and MDA content, activity of GSH-PX and SOD etc in mice. Results: regon K’s average-life-span and max-life-span after receiving PNMP were both significantly higher, compared with the control group(p<0.05).When mice were fed by PNMP, SOD activity in their RBC between different dose groups all significantly increased by the control, and the value was very obvious in middle dose group (p<0.05). Compared with the control group, MDA, LPF contents in serum and brain organs between different dose groups had declined, and the middle dose group kept the sharp trend (p<0.05) in terms of MDA in serum. In addition, PNMP also showed obvious inhibition effect on H2O2-induced rats’RBC hemolysis. Conclusion: PNMP had obvious part of antioxidation and senescence-resistance.
