Studies on Hydrolysis Kinetics of Ethyl Lactate Hydrolyzed Lactic Acid

Abstract: The reaction kinetics model for hydrolysis of the ethyl lactate into lactic acid at the temperature of 368~353K had been investigated in the batch reactor experimentally with least squares method to be employed to regress the parameters of the equation. The significance of the model was tested by residual test, F test and Arrhenius test. The results showed that the residual of the model distributes reasonably and the parameters are regressed significantly. The model can express the characteristics of ther eaction.
