Antibacterial Effects of Ethanol Extract from Sorbus tianschanica Leaves

Abstract: The antimicrobial effects of ethanol extract from Sorbus tianschanica leaves on a series of bacterium and fungi inhibition were studied.The extract was also assayed for its stability to temperature and ultraviolet radiation.The results indicated that the extract with a certain concentration inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi,while the antimicrobial activity of the extracts is quite stable under heating and ultraviolet radiation.
