Abstract: To investigate the effect of pilose antler active polypeptide soft capsules on the immunity of immunized initiatively mice. Three groups Wistar rats were given intragastrically (ig) distillated water (control group), wine (wine group), wine+PAAP (experiment group) respectively for 15 days. The systemic and respiratory tract immune functions were detected at same time. The results show that: in wine+PAAP group, the systemic and respiratory tract immunodepressions which were induced by wine could be relieved by PAAP. Atrophy of thymus gland and the index of thymus and spleen were increased by PAAP. The phagocytosis of PMN, the percentage of peripheral T lymphocyte, the activity of T lymphocyte and the serum antibody could be increased by PAAP than that of control group. In respiratory tract, the phagocysis of Am and the percentage of T lymphocyte in BALF could be increased by PAAP than that of control group.
