Abstract: The copper concentration in beverage has been determined by the method of flame atomic absorption spectrometry and the pre-treatment of sample has been performed by the dilution method in this study. This method has produced not only satisfactory results, but also many advantages including easy pre-treatment of sample, convenience and base line drift. It has a good sample recovery rate of 93.0%~109%. Its relative standard deviation is from 0.808% to 2.62%, and the detection limit is 0.08%.
