Abstract: Three methods including one-step method, direct method and deposited method were used to recover the thick and thin bands from the silver stained differential display PCR products in Pleurotus ostreatus and their re-amplification effects were evaluated. The results showed that the direct method is a rapid, simple and reliable method among the three different recovering methods. And its re-amplification effect is better than that of the one-step method and the deposited method. So it can be efficiently applied in mRNA differential display PCR experiment of Pleurotus ostreatus.
