Abstract: A sensitive and rapid method was established to determine titanium in foods by microwave digestion(MD)-inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric (ICP-AES). In the microwave digestion system, HNO3+H2SO4+H2O(3/2/3, V/V/V)was used as the composition of acids, and programming temperature controlling was employed. Method detection limit, average recovery and RSD were 0.1 mg/kg, 95.6%~104.9%, and1.4%~ 4.2% respectively under selected condition. The results showed that the method is simple, rapid, less environment contamination. It is of great suitable for determination of titanium in foods.
